B16 CRX Si misfire problems
Ok i've got a obd-0 b16a in my crx, the car misfires randomly, example, at highway speed 65mph at 4000 rpms the car will cruise for a long time, for about
30-45 min. then all of a sudden it feels as though I'm only running on three cylinders, I give a little gas and it comes out of it, then when I let the rpms drop back down to 4000 it does it again, I have to run the car at 4500 rpms for it not to misfire. Also now when I start out in first, and I nail the gas as soon as it hits 7100rpms it's like it hits a fuel cut and the tach needle goes nuts, then when I get it to second and SLOWLY give it gas it will go all the way to redline. This doesn't make any since, I replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter, checked timing, checked for codes, sensors are good, no loose connections, checked the battery, alternator, everything checks out, I'm thinking it's my distributor, especially with the way the tach signal jumps, funny thing is it doesn't do this all the time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Could be your dizzy, But when my needles went nuts like that it was my alternator going bad.
Maybe its just your coil. Do some tests on it with a voltmeter
