Default PIAA light bulbs in my eg fog lights. HELP

I've had my fog lights in my eg for well over 1 year now all is working good, but the lights are very low. They are aimed low and the beam is low. Example if im driving in a pitch black street with just only my fogs on u can barely notice that anylight is comming from them. They look like there for show just to make the car look good. I recently bought some PIAA h3 bulbs the same size my fog lights use. theses are ionic yellow. my fog lense is also yellow. it uses the same amount of power. 25 watts i belive. my question is. will everything be ok once i connect them. or will the possible burn out sooner. do i need to upgrade my wireing?? in anyway?? i have already installed my PIAA bulbs in the fogs, im just waiting for my car to get back from paint so that i can plug them into the harness. i tested them with a car battery they look way brighter and much nicer. any help is appreciated thanks.

As long as they are the standard 55 watt versions, you should be fine. However, different bulbs will not change the actual aim of your lights. It sounds as if you need to adjust the aim a bit. You should also be aware that fog lamps are not intended to reach as far as standard low beam headlamps. The are designed to have a relatively short, wide beam.

hids in your headlamps... omg the glare! the scatter! the hotspots! what shitty output!

unless you have a retrofit, then post a pic of your beam pattern :D

---------------------------

The eg fogs with hids, aren't that bad, i've seen pics of them.. alll they need is to be aimed properly and a bit lower than normal... that way the glare is minimized.

the eg fogs are projector fogs, with a fluted lens protecting the projector lens. the fluted lens doesn't do too much damage to the beam pattern... but its not the best option.

If you really want to increase output using halogen, run beefier wiring.

or find some BLAZER fogs, and retrofit those.

There not retro fit. its just an HID kit. but i have projector head lights, and not those fake lame looking projector lights. they are black housing projector lights. they look alright I've had no problems with them had them for 2 years now.
