I'm nearing 180,000 mi on my 97, and we all know what that means. I'm planning on selling the car after I get the belts and pump changed, and I'd rather have an actual service record to present to any buyers rather than getting a funny look if I do it myself. I'm planning on getting that $100 parts package from TAS Auto and paying for labor.
Before I start calling around, I was wondering what exactly a "good" price for labor only on a change would be. I live in Columbus, OH, so if anybody else around here could actually recommend a specific shop that'd be a plus.
Yeah, I know I can do it myself, but the trans is going to fart out on this thing soon and I'll be more likely to sell it if I can demonstrate professional shop work (or maybe just have a less-than-professional shop write up a fake service record for me? )

 

500-600 is about average

300 is a good deal

 

I am from the canton area. If you would want to drive up here I could do it for 300$.
