Default clutch master/slave cylinder

the master cylinder and my slave cylinder leak some fluid. my clutch pedal is soft because of this. jus replaced the clutch 1000 miles ago. the clutch doesnt seem to engage until the pedal is almost all the way out. there is 1 inch of play in the pedal. the clutch not engageing until all the way out is that because of my leak??? thx guys

yes its due to the leaks. i had the same problem but i didnt catch it in time and the slave cylinder went out on me and stranded me. change them out as soon as you can. the slave is the most important one. it takes about 15 minutes to swap out.
