I noticed that the inboard most tail light square on my '99 Accord EX sedan do not light up. The ones on either side of the licensce plate. Are they used as rear fogs in other markets? Can I make them illuminate?

 

Correct me if i'm wrong, but that's just to reflect the coming light from behind... say... at night, when your car has lights off... and thre's a car coming from behind.

 

So they are reflectors? Anyone tried to internaly light them?

 

there isn't an internal reflector. If you want to light them you'll have to add a bulb.

 

I was thinking about it. The only problem with doing that is the keyhole in the passenger side tail light.

 

I don't think the key would look to bad with the small circle not lit.
