I hear the most annoying clicking sound when I turn
Sometimes When I turn right i get the most annoying clicking sound. I cant exactly pinpoint the location, just that its somewhere under the car. Ive asked before and people say its the cv joints. So where exactly are the cv joints, and what should i do to go about fixing them?
A Constant Velocity (CV) joint is a component of the drive axle. There are two joints on each axle - an inboard and an outboard joint. The clicking typically occurs when the boot on the outboard CV tears or splits, allowing the grease to fling out and dirt to get in. Once the joint is out of grease and contaminated by dirt, it becomes damaged and makes the clicking noise you are hearing.
The fix is to replace the axle with a new or remanufactured unit.

or just buy a replacment CV joint. And also to point out the inner CV joint can cause clicking if it goes bad. Other signs of inner cv joints going is vibration from 60-80mph.

The inner joint does not click when it goes bad, but rather makes nasty vibrations during acceleration (under load, throttle open) that can occur at any speed. The inner joint is a completely different type of joint than the outer joint, which is why it doesn't click but vibrates when it goes bad.
Also, from what I understand you cannot replace just the outer joint on Honda axles. The inner joint is the only one that can be taken apart and serviced. IMHO it's better to just replace the whole thing with a rebuilt (not from NAPA or AutoZone) or new axle.

I would suggest getting some from Advance Auto or maybe O'Reiley's if you plan on getting remanufactured axles, or pretty much any place if you get brand new axles.

Although this is mostly right you can replace the outer CV joints on honda axles. It's just a waste of time to replace just the outers and costs almost as much as a full new axle.

hmm that's interesting, because the Helms manual does not list any sort of procedure for replacing the outer joint only, and my Haynes manual says the outer joint cannot be separated from the axle shaft itself.
Got any sources for acquiring a Honda outer CV joint by itself? I'm pretty sure you would have to buy it along with the axle shaft, which wouldn't really be replacing the outer joint by itself.

So i was driving today and it happened again on a hard right turn. (Always a right turn)
But heres the thing.... it doesnt feel like its coming from my axle. If I had to guess the location I would say its somewhere in the rear middle of the car's underside. (Like under where the rear middle passenger would sit.)
When cv joints click, is it easy to pinpoint which joint it is? because right now it feels like its coming from behind me and i know my rear wheels dont have axles.

btw, its not just a clicking noise, because I can feel it in my seat as well. Its feels like the seat track is malfunctioning =/
Actually i really dont think its an axle... i pinpointed where the poping noise is coming from, and its defintely somewhere to the right of me, where the ebrake handle is. Somewhere below the car from that point..... and theres defintely no axle there right?
