Default Is this CRX an EF?

I haven't been into EF's for long...I can't tell if this Rex is EF or older from the back, and the yard won't be open till next week - but I'm sure someone here can tell me -

Cool. It's an Si, so hopefully the mileage isn't too high. I need a tranny for my '91 gutless wonder hatchback.
Maybe I can snag some MPFI parts too.
It has drums on the back tho. I thought the Si CRX's all came with discs.?.

It looks to be an '88 from the pics. the B-pillar cover is narrow unlike the 89-91s with door mounted seatbelts

Good eye...
Plus the taillights are 88-89 tails.

true, ugly duck 21 splines... You'll either have to run an 88 clutch disc (smaller diameter) or get the fancy ACT clutch that uses 21 splines but is the correct larger diameter for an 89-00 civic flywheeel.

It's an '88
got more miles than i was hoping....190,000
trying to decide whether or not I should bother with the tranny or keep looking

of course there's no way to test it until I already did all the work for a swap....so, i might just try to find another

on the good side though, all the MPFI stuff is there and I can get it cheap
