water sound after stop
i can hear some some water (or liquid) sound after the car comes to a complete stop. i know this sound appears after the car comes to a stop and starts moving again. i think it also makes this noise when you make a turn. the honda mechanic test drove the car, but couldnt hear anything. it sounds like a bottle containing a small amount of liquid and you move it back and forth, so its like making some water movement sound. btw, its a 2005 crv...
Could be air trapped in the heater core, I know RL's are prone to that, not sure about CRV's. Any work done on the cooling system around the time the problem appeared (coolant drain and fill, etc)?
its actually my mothers car. there were no work done to the car other than oil change. the sound started to appear several weeks ago. its hard to determine where the sound is coming from, but the driver and front passenger is able to hear it. the honda mechanic took the car out for a test drive, but was unable to duplicate the sound and couldnt do any work to fix it. it makes the sound everytime the car starts moving after a complete stop.
Evaporator could be clogged. I have see this a few times, and it does sound like water swooshing around. Try some compressed air into the evaporator drain tube (a/c drain).

Thats were I was going with this. They may not be able to duplicate because you didnt have the A/c running prior to having it checked out. Repair: have the evaporator drain tube blown out and have the cabin filter replace. Ask them to clean out from inside the housing while they are in there. Other than that I couldnt think of what else would cause a water type noise.

thanks everyone.. i will ask the mechanics to check it again. however, the sound exist regardless if the a/c was on or not. the heat was on these few days and the sound was still there.
