i just got the car to start after messing around wiht the dizzy and now its blowing out a little bit of white smoke out the exhuast.. first time its been started up n about 3 weeks.. and it does not want to rev up.. when i hit the gas it bogs down and goes up a lil bit but struggles.. can anybody help me with this problem.. its my daily driver and with out this i have no way to work or school..

what did you do to the dizzy?

 

just messed with the wires inside of it.. becuz a couple weeks ago i put a new coil in it and it must not have been gettn a good connection or sumthin with the green and yellow wire so i jsut pushed wiggled aroudn with it..

 

did you mess with the timing? check engine light on?

 

yea the lights on.. it was throwing a code 9 before it started to mess up as bad as it is now.. i havent checked it since ive got the car to start up again

 

5) Back in the driver's seat, turn the key to the 'ON' position. The CEL light will come on at startup, like normal, but it will then begin to flash.
**By counting the number of flashes, you can decipher the CEL #.
SHORT flashes are single digits (1/2 second)
LONG flashes are 10's (1 second)

3 MAP - manifold absolute pressure sensor
4 CKP - crank position sensor
5 MAP - manifold absolute pressure sensor
6 ECT - water temperature sensor

8 TDC - top dead centre sensor
9 CYP - cylinder sensor


go check it again and see how manys codes you got.
