my 1985 prelude with a 86 motor

It sounds like you know zero about cars right now. I would start by reading through this forum and others and learning how to do basic maintenance before you worry about making your old Prelude faster. It would be a job even for someone with a shop and tons of experience.

i know some stuff but i am racing in a stock class and preludesare the main car and i race one as well i they some how got a ton more power then me and the tech guys cant find any thing but i am just wanting to know how to get maybe 10 more hp out of my motor or GEARING so i can keep up
Ah, I see..there's very few parts made for those model Preludes. Sounds like you want a better ratio final drive as far as your gearing, and for more power what is your budget/time frame?
