if it is plugged onto the block of the motor, most likely it is your oil pressure sensor.

ok thanks, i just did an obd0 to obd1 conversion and the only plug i have left on the obd0 harness is different style plug with a blue and black/yellow wire, is that for the oil pressure sensor as well?

if i can remember correctly the oil pressure sensor has its own wierd plug. its single wire that connects to the pointy tip of the sensor. it also has a black plastic/rubber protector that domes out over the sensor. if you like, i can get you a picture of what it looks like.

i had thought that the single wire plug was the oil pressure sensor but i wasn't sure... do you know what the 2 prong plug with the blue and black/yellow wire is for?

make an account at photobucket.com and upload your pic there. then when you reply in this forum copy and paste the "img" link in your reply and it should pop up.

just wondering. this is a 93 acura integra correct? all stock? if so this car was originally an obd1...why are you doing an obd0 to obd1 conversion?

the engine is from a 93 teg, i posted questions about the sensor on a different forum but didn't get any answers. i swapped the obd1 LS motor into my crx...
thats the plug from the obd0 crx harness that i have no place for, do you know what it is?

and then thats the back of the block and the plug that goes there, but i dont know what its for...

try using "macro" mode on your digital camera. it will help greatly when taking close up photos.

as for your unknown harnesses. from the pictures you provided, i am not sure what it is. but i have narrow it down to 3 posibilities. it could either be your knock sensor(if the motor is a gs-r), your ECT switch, or your engine oil temperature switch.

from what the picture shows. these harnesses are coming from the same area as the oil pressure sensor correct? if not please tell me where these unknown harness are near which component.

note*you might want to check heated oxygen sensor as well. i do not think this might be one of the unknown harnesses because this harness is located more to the passenger side near the tranny. but do check that to be sure.

yeah my car starts up and runs fine too, but nothing on the gauge cluster works except the speedo and i thought that sensor might have something to do with it... yeah, both plugs are in the same area as the oil pressure sensor

I know nothing about your harness,
But the 2 prong sensor on the back of the motorin the pic is the oil temp sensor.

i remember reading somewhere that an accord's rpm is control by its distributor. i do not know if this might be how your car's rpm is controled too but just thought this info might help.

does yoru gas and temp gauge work?

no, the tach, gas and temp gauge dont work and i can't figure out why.. i have heard that too, that the blue wire from the distributor runs straight to the tach, i'll check where i soldered it...

I dont know if this may help but I did a swap on my ef and I had to rewire the fan switch, on the ef harness (obd0) the switch was beside the oil pressure switch and on the new engine (obd2) it was on the thermostat housing, check if you fans are coming on this may be the plug for the switch.

the fan comes on when i ground it out, but not when the car is on... i extended the wires so the plug would reach the thermostat housing too, but the temp gauge doesn't work.
