I gave a carbonfiber hood. And i cannot close the hood all the way because of the size of my turbocharger. I have a full-race top mount and a bw s372. What i was thinking was i could cut a hole so the hood around the turbo so it could close all the way. Get some carbon fiber and build a scoop and fit over the turbo at the same time. So it would be an advantage both ways. Hood would close all the way and get more air flow.

 

the best way to do it is to make a mold, a fast and easy way would be to carv the shape you want out of foam and then cover the form with tape (i like to use the clear packageing tape) then lay a several layers of fiber glass (cause it cheap) pull the fiberglass off the foam form and lay carbon up inside the mold, pull the carbon out when it cures and trim it and install ..... good luck
