it all depends what year head you have cause the 2000 gsr already have type r cams in the heads...
but if it is older yeah you can use them also do a valve adjustment to be safe

I'm sure it would work but I would still recommend dual valve springs and retainers just for precaution

mike just get them...they will help out alot..and no you dont have to upgrade your valve train just do a valve lash/adjustment like previously stated...

Will not reqiure dual valves or retainers, but it depends whether you are keeping your redline stock. If you extend your redline across 8500 rpm then dual valves springs and retainers need to change.

itr and ctr are both mild enough cams to run stock valve train
type r cams did not come in any gsr of any year
if you can find some ctr cams id go with those. both of the non vtec lobes feel the same as the gsr the difference is seen in vtec type r cams a a bit of a step up and ctr cams are even slightly more agressive then the stock cams.
youll be fine with either.

i personly like ctr cams better.
the non vtec of ctr and itr is almost identical but the ctr vtec lobe is a bit more agressive.
also the skunk stage twos are almost an identical regrind of the ctrs so whichever you can find cheaper.

haha there was supose to be a hint of humer in my post.
itr is definatly a nice grind and for 250 who would say no i just think both ctr and itr parts are highly overpriced for what they are and if i was to go buy 300-400 dollar cams id rather have something that is quite a bit more agressive then stock.
