quik hondata question

Default quik hondata question

my buddy is gonna sell me a hondata p28 ecu but thats all hes gonna give me isnt there supposed to be that little blue box i think its called a stand alone or do they make hondata chips that makes a p28 a hondata ecu plz let me know asap?

yup u NEED the little blue box.......UNLESS it is the s300 model....the s300 has no blue box...it is all concealed inside the ecu....

incorrect they make the hondata in chips now i been around and the only ones ive seen it on is on the s200 for boost

so the s100 doesnt use the blue box how does the laptop hook up for tunning?

for the s100 and the s200 you need the romulator to hook it up to your laptop. the s300 u just plug in the USB. s300 is worth the extra cash

its probably a hondata s100 which is what i used to have its just a removable chip they install inside the ecu so when they tune they have your chip on another ecu and when theyre done they just put the chip back into your ecu with all the tuning already programmed hope this helps
