Default Cant Remove The Damn Window ****

Trying to take off the door panel because the window fell off the track.

I know there is a pin or something behind the ****, but I move my screwdriver, putty knife, butter knife, and wash cloth all along the sides of it and im not getting ****. I push down, up, left, and right, yet nothing happened!

What the hell am I doing wrong?

there is a clip in there. get some something small like a thin and small screwdriver to get in between the washer and the handle. try pushing the pin so the two ends face up and u could just push down on them and itll come off

trust me its there, try poking around from the bottom or corners. if you can feel the 'feet' of the pin, just push on em

easiest way is to slide a terry cloth rag under the **** end of the handle, inbetween the handle and that plastic washer. Slide that rag back and fourth into the gap. That motion will push the pin out the other side. Its a C shaped clip, it can be put into the handle two ways open end towards the **** or away from the ****. So if the open end is toward the **** above method will push it out, if its in backwards you'll have to wiggle the towel in the crack like above but slide it around to the bottom side and wiggle it back and fourth and the clip will come out the other end. Hope that makes since, this trick works better than the special tool for removing window cranks, theres no chance of scratching anything, and its free. Go take a wash cloth to it

Vatozone also sells a nice handy window crank clip removal tool.

Love that thing.
