Default H22 to H23 Exhaut flange differences.....

I have searched on here and keep seeing that the h22 and h23 cylinder head exhaust flanges are different. But if they are so different why do most shops just sell the H series manifold and not anything for the h23 or just the h22. The just put them together. Also I have heard and seen that you can use the h23 manifold on a f22 cylinder is this true and if so are any changes i have to make

Because the h23 does not have as much market potential as the h22 does.

Go into the FAQ's in the prelude forum and there's a thread explaining all of this for you:

You need a f series (F22Ax) head flange.

H22, nor the f22bx flange will work.

You are welcome.

I'm not positive but I believe the h23a1 and the f22b1 both can share the same manifold as far as the exhaust flange goes. I've seen people run a manifold meant for one, on the other, I see no difference. But if I'm wrong then please correct me!

He was saying that his manifold is made to fit both the h23 and h22....maybe it could be you tell him which motor your running and then he builds it to that spec. Also is there going to be any turbo manifold that bolts right up to the f22.
