just got my car done and gotta question...
ok i just got my car boosted and driving and was just curious about y it kinda bucks...like when i am crusing and just have enough gas to maintain speed it jerks...i am untuned with stock injectors and the only pounding on it i did was half throttle 2nd gear till it got into a lil boost to make sure my bov worked and it was getting into boost...im running open dp and have one cel light one for o2...is it doing this bc it is untuned...
your 02 cel is causing ti to run poorly. Get a DP on it pronto. your car will have a solid CEL, and will be in limp mode when it realizes the o2 aint workin.
bucking is 99% chance of being the TPS out of calibration. check it's calibration and get back with us.
and how is your car getting more fuel under boost?

That pretty much sums it up. Get it tuned and your issues will likely be solved.

Are you even going to listen to what anyone says? You already have the kit on there, which tells me your going to drive it regardless.... so good luck.
i understand what everyone is saying and that wasnt my question...i was just asking if i stay OUT of boost will it be ok to drive till next weekend...yes or no?...if not could i unhook a piece of ic pipe and drive it like that?...thanks
If your going to unhook anything unhook the wastegate. If you unhook your charge pipe, it will prevent the engein from seeing boost, but your turbo will spool up like a ****. Will the engine last sure...... no one knows. You need to get an exhaust on it, get rid of the cel, and get it tuned.
thanks man that was an answer i was looking for...im getting exhaust on it this week and that will eliminate the o2 CEL....i didnt know open downpipe was harmful...anyways what u mean unhook the wastegate?....thanks again
he means take the wastegate arm and detach it from your wastegate flap that way all the exhaust blows by and doesnt make boost.
and to answer your question...
my tuner doesnt even want me driving my car for 5 minutes to get to his dyno... i wonder what he would think of my intelligance if i told him i was going to drive it for a week on stock injectors? haha

You will not likely hurt your motor. However, driving with no exhaust and thus no o2 is going to make the motor run fairly rich. Short term not likely to hurt anything, long term you could.
You have to realize the majority of the people in here, have heard it all before. I was only going a week or two without boost, *you said yourself you already boosted it* i didn't have enough money i couldn't afford a tune, so on and so forth. It's just so cheap and easy to have a base map on your car when you boost, that there is no reason to do it the way you are, especially on a DD. No biggie, just unhook the waste gate arm, and you won't have to worry about boost, as much. Good luck.
P.S. no smart tuner would tell you that doing this would be a good idea, because when **** happens people are too quick to point fingers.

--- 3rd shift, taking a bus. I think that would be kinda hard. I personally would rather blow a LS up before taking a bus that late at night. He probably in some crappy town, get shot/shanked for his launch money, and all day bus pass.

even if you don't technicly hit boost you are still flowing CONSIDERIBLY MORE air at part throttle 10"-0" then you where n/a, thus the bucking and over all running rough ... take the wastegate spring out till its getting tuned!
