What i need your guys help with is figuring out what i need and what i don't. Emissions mean nothing in Alberta Canada so i am not worried about any of that stuff. These photos are of my current 4th gen that is being parted out. I am getting a new one from the auctions and plan on fully restoring it over the next year. The entire body will get painted, the engine bay will get painted and cleared of everything i do not need. As well the interior will be half gutted and refinished
.
What i need is for you guys to tell me what i will need to do to allow me to eliminate everything. I know a far bit about what i will need to do but i figured its best to ask these questions so i know what to expect.
First, where can i relocate my fuse box? How hard is it to do that? Would i be better off just leaving it in the engine bay and getting a CF cover?
I will address any abs deletion issues when i begin. I know for certain i need to make two SS custom brake lines for the front brakes.
Second, what is that big black canister beside the abs unit for?

Third, hondata will allow me to gut my egr and all the hardlines correct?

Fourth, can i delete the resistor box since i will be running RC 750-1000cc injectors (not 100% sure which ones i am going to)?
Fifth, I always see all the firewalls completely empty after engine bay painting and removal of hardlines. Which hardlines will be fully removed after i do all this? I am keeping my PS, its the one thing i need and love.

I would really appreciate the help guys. Also, please refrain from the insults, i am simply asking for help for my build. I don't know it all, this is why i am asking for some help

I do have a helms manual which is why i said if i need help with that i will ask later down the road
You will need your resistor box for the injectors if their low impedance. Usually injectors that flow that much are, so keep it.
If the injectors you choose are saturated then you will ditch the resistor box.

Fuse box can be put anywhere you want, but the ideal places regarding the harnesses and stuff are either lower in the bay or inside the car under or behind the dash. Here's where I put mine, but I have no HVAC stuff:

Nobody makes a CF engine cover for Hondas that I ever seen, even Civics. Did you mean something custom?
Do some searching on the ABS removal...there's a few good threads including and official 'how to remove ABS' thread. There are many ways to do it...

Charcoal canister for the EVAP system. It's job is to absorb the fuel vapors that come into it from the fuel tank and purge whatever's left into the throttle body. It's not needed...also searching on that one will get you a lot of answers.

The EGR doesn't have any hardlines, just vacuum lines and wires, and the Hondata should definately be able to keep you from throwing any codes.

It's up to you what stuff you remove isn't it? You have brake lines, PS lines, clutch line, etc...do what you want.

thanks guys, that picture with the fuse box really helps. How often do those batteries need to be replaced?
Are you keeping your AC or not, I am working on a tutorial and would like to get some pics from you and I can help with that wiring also depending on what you are going to do with this project and its AC, lets do some horse trading, I only need some pics and I can give guidance PLEASE.

So far I have gone through one every 2 years as a daily driver, but now I only drive the car about 1/2 the time, so hopefully it will last longer.

For sure! I am not keeping a/c. Even my old lude had no a/c. What pictures do you need?

Of course AC components and connectors in the wire harness, I just made the word document so I will try to copy and paste it here and see how it works. I know some items may not be in the best location for a good pic but I will guide you as long as you can go please, stop at anytime or take as much time as you need, I wont bother you if I do not see anything new.
Hello to all Forum Gurus and Honda Techs in general. I am building an all Honda Air Conditioning Diagnostic Pictorial Tutorial as an Open Source Troubleshooting Guide for all of you to use as part of your AC System repair needs.
I am initially asking those of you with digital cameras to post pictures of your AC Components, wire harness connectors and the wires themselves going into the back of system components such as relays, switches and control heads. There are too many to list but the list is not huge, but the amount of different years, models, engine and trim combos is a huge list.
I will post a few sample pictures here for those of you interested in helping out, this project may very well take quite some time so join in with your ride and help out as much as you can please. Give the year, model, engine and trim of your car when you post please and extra info such as auto air, dual climate control or Navi is included on your options.
I am mostly interested in the actual wire color and its stripe color if it has one. A close up, well lit, in focus picture of the wire going into the connector or the component so I can explain where to back probe with a multimeter or test light, diagnosing the AC system will be just about this easy and my goal is to get everyone to be able to diagnose their own AC System without going to an expensive shop to get a simple answer.
Last picture at the bottom of the page, picking out the AC wires in a connector may be a job in itself, anything you can do to help clear things up will be very appreciated by all. I will be doing a different style of marking my tutorial pictures than this one.

This picture is almost perfect, spread out the wires just a little on the right side and everything would be completely visible. No need to turn this connector over.

The top picture is nice although you do not need to disassemble your connector, this angle is good for the top row of wires, then flip the plug (or entire component) over and get a view of the bottom row or wires, closer and in focus please, as much detail as possible.

These connectors in the second picture can be closer and the wires can be spread out a little for clarification. You may need to twist a wire or two to show the stripe color also.

The first picture shows the control panel in this type of year and model to match it up to your trim style to verify that we are working with the same type AC System as yours.

Another question, what is the little canister above the huge canister? It has a few, what i assume are, vac lines coming off of it.
Also, in regards to the a/c pictures, i don't have my a/c installed and i am not sure what you want from me? I think the harness is still installed in the car and i can take pictures of the a/c system behind the dash. My dash is completely out minus all the a/c stuff underneath it on the fire wall.

The little canister with metal lines going to it is the fuel filter, Honda does a pretty good job of putting these things where they can be serviced, but not 100% of the time.
Did you get my links above please, the in dash stuff will be great, its hard to ask folks to tear into their dash just for my simple little project, thanks so much, I will give you some guidance based on what you post please.

thanks for the help.
Here are the requested pictures. I have no clue what you want from them so whatever close up's you need just let me know
The best way to do this is use paint and circle it with a red outline.
