You don't need to pull the axles to change the springs as long as you remove the strut assembly and disassemble it outside of the car. Anyway, the 3 rollers have grooves that they fit into in the hat, so just slowly turn it 'till it slides together

It can be very difficult. Be careful also when putting the axel back, I busted a seal on my transmission by trying to hard. Also there is a little ring on the tip of the axel that may or may not have to be replaced depending on how lose it is. I believe the helms recommends that you change it everytime you pull the axel.

as above ^^^^^^ you need to line the spiders up with the shaft and you can't do this without pulling back the rubber boot. you will also need some more hi temp grease ( to replace what you will lose in the process.

you will also need cable ties or metal clip to hold the boot in place when you have finished.

I did this same thing not two weeks ago. What I did was pull the boot back by popping off the retainers. Then lined up two of the pins, and slid them in. Then I lined up the last one. It only took a few min to do this on the car. Advanced autoparts sells CV joint grease. I'm sure Honda stuff would be better. I was also able to reuse the retainer clips, but that might not be the best idea.

If it shakes that most likely means it is unbalanced/bent/cheap. I went through 3 cheap made in china axles before I said screw it and paid the money for an OEM. No shakes at all now.

haha remember when we done yours Jase? The grease inside the cup is the slippiest ***** known to mankind, we were both covered in it! Be careful as the bearings on each leg of the "spider" inside the end cup have a tendancy to fall off.

usually i have found that bad shaking is a failed inner cv joint. VERY common on re manufactured axles.
