Hello,

Can some one post pics of the alternator relocation bracket used on the D16y8 motor with a JRSC for a 1999 civic? I have an upper alternator relocation bracket that moss motors said I needed but looking at the instructions it says you need a modded lower Alt bracket too. The instructions arn't very helpful. Pics, Diagrams or detailed instructions needed!

Is the lower Alternator bracket also the idler pulley bracket?
Im confused beacuse their website doesn't have a listing for that year and no one at Moss motors (JRSC) knows anything.

Daily driver is becoming daily rotten

The lower alt. bracket that comes in the kit is a stock piece that has been milled down to move the alternator toward the passenger's side of the car. You then have to use a spacer to fill in the gap that is created. I called up Moss and ordered one a couple months ago because I couldn't get it through the site. I would give them a call and talk to Keith and see if they have any more left.

For everyone with this problem sicc83 was right about the bottom alternator bracket, but I also discovered that the only Upper alternator bracket needed for the JRSC D16y8 was the same big bracket with the idler pulley's.

Hope this post helps someone one day!!!
