R*Crew EG/EK Swaybar Brackets

R*Crew rear swaybar brackets for eg/ek's
these sorta look like the beak's swaybar reinforcement brackets they had.
but R*Crew's brackets look like they may be a bit better?

The Beaks kit is not a reinforcement, nor is the product pictured in your post. They are simply mounting adapters and will not prevent subframe tear-out, especially on a '96-00 Civic.

SRK-EG/DC - SUBFRAME REINFORCEMENT KIT
Anyway, it still won't prevent subframe tearout. Search ht. There have been tearouts with the comptech sway/tie bar.
Don't be cheap, buy the ASR brace.

They can call it whatever they want, but it certainly is a misnomer. It's not reinforcing anything, especially my confidence in its effectiveness.

people tearing out their subframes with comptech kit is because they're running stupid low spring rates.

with a compech full set up? i doubt it unless they modified the swaybar or endlinks.
or the subframe had work done from a previous accident.,

I've had a 22mm ITR rear bar mounted with a Beaks kit and stock ITR rear springs for over 2 years without a problem, and I do my fair share of hard cornering.
On 96-00 Civics, I'd say the ASR brace or similar is required for mounting a large rear sway bar. It's really not required so much for EG's/DC's. You just have to mount the sway bar close to the sub frame so the bar doesn't exert so much torque on the sub frame as it would if you mounted it with the stock GS-R sway bar mounting brackets.
