Default Brake Light Problem

I have a 1992 Honda Accord Coupe LX and my brake lights stay on all the time even when the car is off! The only way to turn them off is by disconnecting the battery! I already searched all the threads but there wasn't any information on how to fix this model accord. How do I fix my car?

The answer is in the other post you replied to.Half way up the brake pedal there is a plastic button that breaks and will no longer contact the switch.I replaced mine with a quater by half in nut and bolt.Mark

Yes,I did not have to adjust the switch after either.I put the head of the bolt to the switch with the nut in back.Mark
