Gotcha, and that I'm not. Plus, the hybrid has tons of wires floating everywhere that I dont want to mess with.

What is a decent Pioneer model that is similar you guys could recommend?

Yeah those look nice, ever heard of a "Carputer", its pretty much the same thing as the AVIC but you have to build it on your own.

Yah, but nowadays, with all the huge flash drives floating around, is it worth it?

I would say, look into Garmin.....they work really well, and look great, plus they are very user friendly......and very cheap this time of year.

i have an eclipse single din flip out in my 01 sedan. I have it mounted in the bottom din spot, so when its open, it doesnt stick too much above the dash and looks almost like a 2din mounted one. im looking for a gps that will plug into the a/v input in the brain. i found a generic one for like 350, so im keeping an eye on the price of that one. I cant warrant spending the 800ish eclipse wants for theirs

sorry i took so long i had to rush to work today sorry for the huge pics. This pic is of the navi while just driving.

Here is a Split screen option if you wanna setup 2 side by side screens with it zoomed in or zoomed out or vise versa.

And the last one is a turn by turn direction when you need directions (which no man needs) lol as it also says them verbally while driving also so you can listen to a cd and it will mute the front drivers side speaker to tell you where to go

How does the nav work? Do you need to use a dvd or subscribe to anything, or is there just an antenna that you install?

I just use a Map DVD that came with the Deck. And there is a little Gps antenna that updates my location with the map software. So it always knows where i'm at.
