The only thing I don't understand...

You have a quick release w/ detachable steering wheel, yet don't take it off at night? I don't care what neighborhood I live in, I would do it regardless. Just that extra bit of security knowing theives would have a much harder time getting the whole thing.

Good luck getting it back.

crap man that sucks.

out of curiosity, how did they take the steering wheel if its got the quick release? did you leave it in the car?

also, what other anti theft devices do you have.

i have had my hatch stolen from me once, and i had nothing to stop them. they have tried a couple times since then and have failed. what i am trying to say is that i know how you feel, and hopefully it will be found in good shape...

i hope whoever did it ends up the victim in one of those videos where their vehicle is being crushed

i was talking to the cops when they were lifting prints from the 2nd and 3rd attempts and it seems like theft in my appartment complex and only the immediate surrounding area is pretty common and all of the cars are found stripped in camden. other auto burglaries are common throughout the entire township, but the guys that do it for a living target my area specifically.

the culprit may have followed you, or he may have just been a friend or relative of someone in your area and saw your car in passing.

C'mon man.....Lets get real. Quick release steering is not security. Good thieves carry them with a cheap wheel.

Second........Why would you invest all of that money and never invest in a decent security system? I preach "fuel cutoff" all the time because it works. less than $10 worth of stuff and you have really effective security. Couple that with a good alarm and you're set.

that really sucks man... im gonna have to learn to get out of my bad habbits when i move out of this town. my car is unlocked, and keys in it all the time.... but thats common with every vehical in this area. i hope you get it all back and they get whats coming for them. all the work you put into the car means nothing to insurence companies. they only give you the money that they think its worth.
