Default TPS Code. Please help. Searched.

I have a 91' LX with a JDM D15B in it and it ran fine when i first did the swap, but after about a month later i started getting a roaming idle. Thinking it was the iacv I took it off and replaced it and then soon thereafter I got a cel 7 flashes, tps sensor. So i thought mayeb it was adjusted incorrectly...tried with no luck, reset ECU....no luck, and just got new tps and ......no luck. Extremely high idle at start around 3500-4000 then idles after warm up at minimum of 2250. Please help. Thanks.

P.s. I got my wiring done by rywire for the obd0 to obd1 so I will assume that they switched the outer two wires for the tps.

Do you have a fast idle valve under the throttle body???

I'm not sure if the JDM D15B has that. I'll check today, but I am not entirely sure.

Do you think the FITV could cause the ecu to throw a tps cel?

You didn't happen to have the TPS off at all did you?

You can always check to see the output voltage of the TPS. Take a multimeter, turn the ignition key to the run position, and insert your probes into I believe the outer two wires. Get a reading on the base/idle and then slowly open the throttle body, the voltage should increase linearly. I'm sorry I don't know the values off the top of my head. I have figures in my mind but I don't want to state them in case they are incorrect. I'm sure someone will chime in, otherwise they're available in the service manuals.

Yes I had it off, but not the new one since I have gotten it it went right on. ANd the voltages are .45-.5v at idle and 4.5-5v at Wot. It is calibrated, but I'm still getting a code. Thanks for the input though.

Took it all apart today. Oil change and FITV off. Found that the plastic screw thing was ungodly loose. tightened it up and readjusted tps. No problems idle at 1k. Thanks everyone for your help. Timing is next. Thanks again I really appreciate it.
