b series cable clutch in a hydro tranny??

Default b series cable clutch in a hydro tranny??

hey sorry if this is common knowledge tried to search no luck, i was wondering if i could use my act clutch out of my xsi swap in a b20, 2000 si tranny combo?? since it only has 10xxx miles on it i want to reuse it, thanks andy

You can only reuse the pressure plate. The newer disk has a larger spline, so your old one won't work. Also, the release bearing won't work. And finally, you don't want to reuse a pilot bearing.

x2, you can probably get just a new disc if you call ACT for a hydro.

It will work just fine. I used a flywheel/clutch from a 2000 SI into my B16A with YS1 swap. Worked awesome. Then I had it on my LS. It's all the same stuff.

ys1 = not like many other cable trans. exedy has 2 different part numbers for them. 90% of cables you see are not compatible. most cables have the 25mm shaft, not the 26mm.

the hydro and 92-93 ys1 clutches are the same.

He said he has an XSi swap, those are Y1 equipped IIRC, my tranny is a Y1 casing with YS1 gearing.

1995 integra clutch:
