Another option is just to find a STD model rear hatch. Well worth the $40 or so they usually go for .

find a black seal on the hatch, pop it off, seal up the hole you just made with some silicone, put some spray on adhesive and throw it in the wiper whole. works well just make sure you let it dry before you open and close any doors. pressure will knock it right out.

Just buy a wiperless hatch that's the same color as your car! Cheapest and simplest solution. And the H on both front and rear are the only emblems that are mounted with fasteners, the rest are glued on.

As stated, the best way is to just buy a different rear hatch that is without wiper.

If you are blessed, you may be able to find one the same color as your car.

What I don't know is if a "non-wiper" hatch has the glass defogger wiring.

On my car, I removed the wiper and welded up the hole, pulled out the glass, painted it, and then had the glass re-installed.

Wes.

Ya they have the defogger stuff. It was a standard option on all hondas of those years. I had an STD lol. Funny tho, an STD in Canada mostly came with 5spd and DX hubs instead of the STD hubs, and they were called CX not STD.

Like you'd call a car an STD. I dunno about over there, but over here an STD is a Sexually Transmitted Disease.

Imagine having that as a daily driver. lol.

STD is short for Standard. And FYI, STD (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) have been renamed STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections) because most of them are cureable now. They can even stop progress of HIV into AIDS now.
