Default ctr or sir motor

ok a friend of mine was looking at a motor and the guy said its a ctr motor but when i went to look at it it said b16a so i figured it was a jdm b16 wit a obd1 Intake mani. so i tried to do some research and all i could find was that it could be a sir motor. I looked at the cams but really didnt have time to pull the cam caps the vtec lobes were pretty big. some one help me if they can.

JDM B16A:
'88-'93 JDM Honda Integra RSi/XSi
'89-'91 Honda CRX (SiR)
'89-'91 Honda Civic (SiR/SiRII)
'92-'95 Honda Civic (SiR/SiRII)
'92-'95 EDM Honda Civic VTi
'92-'96 Honda CR-X Del Sol SiR

That's just what I found on wiki.

The B16B was the "Civic Type R" motor.

That's 6th gen '96-'00 CTR.

thats about right. I see Gen. 2 b16s going for as high as 1800 with EVERYTHING included ie. axles, shift linkage, mounts, ECU, etc. Im not sure about Gen. 1 because of the cable tranny but i can see 1300 being reasonable with EVERYTHING. Goodluck with the sale!
