HID Headlights
i'm curious as to what modifications people are doin to the headlights when installing HID's. Seems the reflector inside the housing is just killing the beam pattern of the bulbs. The lines are brighter 3 inches in front of me on the ground than 3 feet in front of me pointed straight.

Get a retro. I'm saving money for that as well as many many other items.

the beam pattern has nothing to do with the bulb (as far as beam width is concerned), the width of the beam is determined by the optics of the lens in the projector, and unless you find optics (projectors) and where desgined for the multiple points at which the LED's are going to start the light, your results will be unsatisfactory. Also, im not sure LED's will be brighter than a proper HID setup. Just do a retro with OEM parts
no complaints after i did mine.
