HELP: brake tail light is dead..

Default HELP: brake tail light is dead..

i have a 96 civic hatch and i don't know what is wrong with the brake tail light...this is what i done so far, i change the light ball, and check all the fuse .after that i step on the brake it still not turning on....if anybody know the problem, let me know...thanks..

1.) check power to your brake light switch. if you have power, check after it (while hitting the brakes). (if there is power before it but not after it then replace the switch.) if normal continue.

2.) Trace the Green/White wire to Junction Connector C442. make sure there corrosion/open here...(check voltage drop across connector, resistance can be deceiving when using an Ohm meter.) if normal continue.

3.) check voltage drop across the wire leaving the connector and before the Green/White wire branches off to the other taillights. since none of your tails are working and each has their own separate ground, the problem should be before this unless none of your bulbs are properly grounded.

4.) check grounds

normal voltage drop across a switch, connector, or wire should be ~.2V or less.
