Default i'm CONFUSED.. mount questions..

i'm wanting to get some hasport mounts for a D build i'm doing, but i keep running into a problem.. i should just need to order part number EGSTK mounts right? stock, EG mounts.. WELL... this is where it gets interesting..

i have this drivers side MOUNT that i traded a friend for.. it doesn't fit my motor..

all the pictures and ads, including hasport.com say that it's for a stock EG or a B16a.. NOW
the bracket that is attatched to my motor is for this drivers side mount.. 3 screws, one going threads down into the bracket through the mount, and 2 threads up with nuts on top of the mount...
now, is it possible my motor somehow got a GSR/LS bracket on it, or did i get the bastard child of D series motors here?

also, if i order the b18b/c kit, the rest of the mounts are the same correct??

Hmm does the motor that you have already have a Actual mount? Like the rubber one? Or is it just the mount that gets bolted down onto the rubber? I think my d motor also has a 3post mount rather then the 2 post mount. I don't remember but I can look in the morning. You can just go and get the right mount from the junk yard that lets you bolt it up to the mount you already got.

The D series driver's side motor mount is different from '92-'95 cars and '96-'00 cars.

It's possible the one you traded your friend was from a 5th or 6th gen while your car is from the opposite.

All the rest of the mounts are the same, but they changed the driver's in '96.

the 92-93's had a 2 holes in the mount and the 94-95's had a 3 holes, like the 94up tegs.

simple fix man.. get the bracket that bolts to the block off a d15... im thinking u have the other mount which is like the older 88-91 civics.. i ran into something like this back in the day when i put a z6 in my cx.. my cx mount was completely different so it was either swap over the cx bracket and mount or find another mount similar to the one u had.. i chose the latter and used all the z6 stuff. the z6 mount is basically identical to b series mounts. hope that clears it up a bit
