Are you going to have it tuned by someone else? If so I would ask the tuner if they prefer one over the other.

That comparison is good. Also check out both software packages and see which you like.

Yep, the comparison is pretty good. Neptune now has battery voltage offsets now though, just one thing I saw on there.

But it is a good idea to see what your tuner recommends and what he is comfortable tuning. I like the RTP because it uses a normal chipped ecu and doesn't require the Male header like the S300 uses.

Boosted or NA?

If boosted, do you need the ECU to control boost or will you have your own boost controller?

Do you need on board datalogging or can you put your laptop in the car when you need logging?

Who is tuning it?

i find the s300 software a little easier to navigate through..both systems have things i like more than the other etc. we do a ton of hondata cars, and lately have been trying to get everybody to upgrade to the s300, its so much nicer than the 100/200.

your 2 choices on who to tune the car is right on the money in the area. the tunes from jason ive seen look good we have done a ton of h22 turbo cars and would be glad to help you out as well.

Same here. I hate working with the older platforms and having to mess with all the chip burning junk.

I will agree that the Hondata S300 software is very user-friendly, as is all of Hondata's other products.

I personally run the Neptune RTP on my car, and love it. The software has a little steeper learning curve, but it's getting easier to use with each new release, and it all makes sense.

The price point on the Neptune RTP was recently lowered, as well.

Both are great systems.

Both of the systems get the job done. If your not tuning the car your self, go ahead and talk to your tuner about the subject.
