Default New Clutch?

Hey guys. quick question. When I shift gears, I only have to press down the clutch like maybe a inch or two....doesnt that mean I need a new clutch? It has always done that.

Default Re: New Clutch? (wrice4)

I wouldn't think so. The way I have always checked if my clutch was bad was to put it in 4th and try to take off. If it tries to stall the clutch is still in good condition. If it doesn't time to change it out.
