Whats the difference between 02-04 RSX Type S and Base model?
I hear base model is much cheaper on the insurance as opposed to the Type S. I also know that the Type S comes with leather seats and the base model doesn't (same type of seats but made of cloth). I'm not sure about the moonroof.
Also, is it possible to make a base model rsx into a type s? (assuming that everything can be swapped from seats to engine)
I'm not looking to race or anything. I dont know why everyone prefers the Type S.

Because the motor makes ~40-50hp+ over the base. Because the gearing is about 181348461x better. Lots of others too.
If youre not looking to race than grab you a base model and save loads of money.

I mean, do these K motors in the RSX last up til 200K miles? if not, how long til they give out? (assuming I know how to take care of any car).. do you recommend buying a used RSX at a dealer if its between 60-70k miles? (its cheaper too)

So is the FAQ and search button. We've been over this a few times.
