Default Ground Control Tophats

How much additional travel do the ground control top hats provide?

Aprox 1" of shock travel. However, if you have a camber adjusting UCA, you'll hit the shock tower with it before you can take full advantage of the extended top hat.

I really need to take some pics of my shock tower dents one of these days...

If you ever have your fenders off of the car, you should take a pic of the car on the ground to show how close your UCA's are.

Never had the fenders off my car, unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, as I've never had reason to remove them).

Running 205/45-16 tires close to OEM total diameter).
Koni OTS yellows.
GC sleeves and 400 lbs/in springs.
Front equipped with GC extended upper mounts.

Front side jack points are 6" from the ground.
Front fenders have approximately a "2 finger gap".
UCA is approximately 1.5" from contact point.
Shock is 1" from bumpstop, and approximately 2.25" from fully bottoming.

At least I can never bottom out and blow my shocks. Instead, I'll blow out a balljoint one day, which is probably significantly worse.

Of course, stiffer springs would probably alleviate my issues, and will be my next change to try and help this condition.

Of course, removing my camber kit would solve all my clearance issues. Maybe I won't need nearly as much static camber with stiffer rate springs all around. 600 lbs/in, here I come...
