Default body kit

i had my hfp bodykit installed at the start of oct. since it was picked up in the evening, i couldn't really tell how the install looked. a day or so later, i notice there were very thin gaps between the kit and the bumper. i didnt get a chance to bring it in and almost a month later, the gaps were wide enough for a toothpick to drop thru easily. i brought it in 2 weeks ago and they said that it was installed properly and holes were drilled properly so there is no way they can pull it tighter against the bumper. i complained that its only a month and the gaps widen so much. they said to bring it back and they will try to fix it and if it doesnt work, they might need to order a new kit for me.

Is this a question? I'm not sure what you're looking for... I can go ahead and give you a general "ouch, that sucks" or "Good luck", though.

as long as they cover the cost. i got my car about 3 weeks ago with the hfp lip package installed by the honda dealer...and my rear lip is doing the same thing...theres about a millimeter gap on the rear driver side of my lip. kinda bad since i paid so much money for the real thing. planning to take it in soon, just been busy with exams. ill let you know how it goes.

oops... sorry, didnt realize that my question wasnt posted. prolly accidentally deleted it.

anyway.. how much of a gap is considered normal? at the start, only 2 of 4 corners had gaps that were prolly fingernail-thin. now, all four corners have gaps that can fit a round toothpick. well, not exactly at the corner. some are at the front/rear side, and some at the side. since they said holes were drilled correctly, the the problem coming from the double-sided adhesive? are they going to redo the protection spray if they change the kit?
