Default ASR reinforcement plate...

Hi. I was wondering if anyone here knows for sure whether my rear 22mm Skunk bar is compatible with the ASR kit. Specifically, will there be any end link issues?

Thanks in advance.

No, the ASR brace has nothing to do with your endlinks. If you have endlink issues, it would be because of your LCAs and using an aftermarket sway bar.

The Skunk2 sway bar will be compatible with the ASR brace assuming you are using the ITR sway brackets (or ES bushing/bracket made for the larger bar).

Thanks for replying. You know what, though?! My fault, I wasn't specific...

I had a Skunk 22mm bar setup. Suffered a tearout. Now I want to reinforce the subframe and want to know if the existing endlinks that came with the Skunk kit (which is still bolted to the LCA's) and all existing hardware will be compatible with the ASR kit.

Thing is, I posed the same question to a friend. We got to theorizing how the thickness of the plate causes the bar to sit further back from the subframe surface and towards the rear, thus possibly causing the endlinks to not hook up correctly.

But just today, I dug up this old bag o' scraps. It contained all the old parts from the tearout: D-barckets, bolts, bushings, etc. There was also this old spacer thingy that came with the kit that the D-barckets bolted through to the subframe. In fact, the whole thing was still bolted together with a piece of the subframe still attached!!

Aaanway, based on my theory and my (re)discovery today, it shouldn't be a problem since the original setup didn't have the D-brackets mounted directly on the surface of the subframe anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I got another vote for 'No prob, get it. Should bolt right in!' Would anyone else like to part some knowledge? Thanks.
