Default Detailed 07 TSX [PICS]

moms car.. only 4300 miles on it.. for a brand new car, you'd think the finish should be pretty nice. which it was.. however, i was noticing the reflections in the paint werent as crisp as i like.. and i wasnt sure if this was just honda's standard in their paint finishes.. i notice even the TL's dont have paint that makes you say wow.. but i was determined to at least improve it..the resulst were surprising.. no before pics, it wasnt too warm in the garage so i wanted to work quickly

started out with a good wash.. then polished with menzerna po106ff with a white ccs pad.. sealed the paint with menzerna fmj, then did the swissvax cleaner fluid, and topped it all off with a coat of swissvax concorso

Looks great.

I don't think it can get any shinier than that.

yeah it will stay stock.. its my moms car.. the only thing i did was put a K&N drop in filter, and cut the resonator elbow and mounted it forward, and then cut out the slats in that fake black vent in the bumper.. like a homemade cold air.. she got like 1mpg improvement..

A bird crapped on my 05 tsx hood and ate through the clear coat within 1 hr

Acura refused to fix it claiming that due to the high heat in my area that was the cause... so i guess NY is hotter than say... arizona/nevada

Good job on shitty paint.

Nah, you can probably get a detailer to polish it out and level out the bird crap etching. If you're close enough to new jersey, my boy phil from detailersdomain.com can help you out. He's a great detailer, and uses only top line products. If not, try local detailers and see if someone can buff it out for you. Bird crap can usually be fixed easily
