i just sold my crx and bought an mr2 both are nice cars, but these guys are really pissing me off so i thought that id tell honda-tech. i used to get made fun of when id post on honda-tech because all of my ideas were crazy theories that didnt make any sense but i didnt mind but these guys are just plain retarded. if anyone wants to move this thread so that more people can see feel free

ya i cant believe they actually said that there 90s technology was better than 2000+ like toyota engineered the turbo or something they go on and on saying how honda is stupid for engineering a car with a high hp/displacement ratio well they didnt really say that but what they do keep saying that hondas have no torque, you cant possilbly make that much torque at that much rpms. they also dont seem to think that its a good idea to rev higher because come on now why would you want to do that

yes i had a AE86... in high school i had one... got it in 98 as a junior and sold it in 01.... long before the "DRIFT" thing...

i like the Mr2s. But really the whole comparison that arose in the thread is about a turbo stock car vs. a N/A stock car. The price is the same if you take in account inflation true. I think that a stock S any year will walk a Mr2 any year, on the track. I mean a mans track...like with turns. Im not saying a Mr2 sucks because i dont think it does but the S is a go-cart on the track. And isnt the Spyder basically the new MR2?? that car is slow as *****. Technically an S2k is a 90s car lol. made in 99.

also my friend had a mr2 and almost died. the car caught fire after he spun off the road and he couldnt get out, and some random guy ran up and busted out his window and pulled him out just in time.

MR2 are great cars in the right hands, to the aveage joe NO it isnt...

the 3SGTE is a GREAT power plant in NA or FI form. im a toyo head and hate how some can not respect a good car when they see one. it goes both ways...

i personally am not a fan of either...but i like a good car when i see them. there is very few hondas that i wish to own, the itr, s2k, and nsx. i usually only like 1 or 2 cars from each manufacturer. the only bmw's i would own are a m3 or m5...after owning my 328 i realized how horrible of a company bmw was and how they love to rape. also the techs at their dealership dont know **** and http://www.unitedbimmer.com is full of ********

i dont like stock or old nsx's. i only like the newer ones with the non pop up lights and all that jazz.

i have no doubts that toyota makes a good car. i used to race stock cars on circle tracks (im not a redneck btw) and the toyotas would come out there and rape every weekend. look at nascar now...toyotas are taking over. they must be doing something right! i will say if i had to own a pickup truck it would defineatly be a tacoma

i do hate how the new gs series lexus's look exactly like camrys but cost a **** load more. i also hate rednecks that put flow masters on their tundras
