Has to come off before you can go any lower. I was already sitting on the stop rings.
In the first picture, the stop ring is already off.

Ok lemme get this straight
You bought coilovers... lowered them to MAXIMUM lowering... hit the stoppers
CUT the stoppers to go lower just for looks?
Why even spend the $, should have just cut your oem springs and called it a day.

I bought the car used. It came with Mopar Stage 3 Coilovers, which are also KW Variant II's. The only difference is the color, and then Mopar adds a stop ring that only lets you lower the car 2 inches. By removing the stop ring it voids the lifetime warranty on the Mopar coilovers. Basically, Mopar has a ring on theirs, KW doesnt. Mopar has a lifetime warranty, KW doesnt. I think the ring is more like a calling to make that lifetime warranty last longer. As in, the chances of them blowing up when its lowered 2 inches is very low. Remove the ring and I could go an extra 2 inches. I think it was Mopars way of being able to sale coilovers for friggin $1,500 and throw in a lifetime warranty to make it more appealing.
I didnt spend a dime on the coilovers cause they came with the car. So I took the rear stop rings off. The fronts were already taken off, my warranty was voided on the SET anyway. Besides, a 2 inch lowering limit is weak. If it were my car to begin with, I would have went with KSports or BC's. And I would never cut springs.

Thanks man. I agree that the car needed to be wingless, I just havent taken the time to take it off. Now I can actually see behind me.
As for slamming it, I'm just waiting for new tires. If you didn't notice, the rears are a little bigger. Came that way.
235/40/17 front, 235/45/17 rear.
