Help! ST Rear Sway Bar ---Crx Question
Hello all! Im going to buy a rear sway bar made by Suspension Technique for my 91 crx from a guy on Craigslist.
The rear sway bar is missing the endlinks because he lost them. My question is:
Does the ST rear sway bar use STOCK endlinks, or does it use its own unique endlinks?
Thank you suspension guru's!

they do not use stock endlinks.
basically generic heim joints tho. i think oyu can even call ST to buy them yourself.
there are other companies like function 7 that will provide endlinks too. not sure if it will fit tho. ask them.

Ok thanks. I found function 7's website and they are selling the links for $50
I was thinking I would spend less than that. I tried finding a Suspension Technique website or any form of contact and couldn't find any. Do you know how I can contact ST?

hmmm the ST bars my buddy bought for his old 95 Civic DX (no sway bar holes in the LCA's) used those generic-looking end links that look like the ones Energy Suspension sells, which you can buy at Auto Zone and other places. I'm talking about the ones that look like a long bolt with 2 bushings on one end, and 2 bushings on the other end. One end goes through an L-bracket added to the lower shock bolt, with 2 bushings, and then the other end goes through the sway bar (end link holes are oriented vertically), with the 2 other bushings. The bracket and sway bar end are sandwiched between each pair of bushings.
I think it's similar to the sway bar end links used on old American muscle cars, which why they're so generic.
It shouldn't cost more than $20 for a pair of those end links.
This is what I'm talking about:

The end links that came with my friend's ST Civic rear sway bar did look like that. He bought the sway bar brand new.
*edit* If the ST bar is for a car that did not originally have a sway bar, then it uses that type of end link, and attaches to brackets that go on the lower shock bolts, like so:

If the sway bar is made for a car that did come with a stock sway bar, then I believe it should use stock end links. ST does make bars both front and rear for cars that came either way.
My friend's 95 DX coupe had no sway bars at all from the factory, and so the bars he got used those generic end links on all 4 corners.
