Default 96 ex...turbo?

im on a kinda tight budget but come spring will have money to do something to it. wanted b series swap but thinking it not worth the trouble or money.i hear people talking about turboing the D and i think that is my most likely scenario. i would of course do a compression test to see thatr all is well and if it is how much psi can i run on stock internals and how much whp will be made?

thanx h-t

Stock block can handle anywhere from 200-250hp before the rods start to give out. But y-series block are known of spuning bearings due to its oil pump issue. On the serious note, you should do a little research. Turbo D16 is everywhere. You can also check out d-series.org and turbod16.com for more sources.

As long as the compression numbers are close to each other than you should be fine.
