storage yard ate my ECU and DIstributor!
hey i've got a small problem. i bought a used jdm motor and swappped it in to my 90 integra. the motor was complete with tranny and ecu. i had to store it at a shop in orlando while i was out to sea and instead of charging me the storage fee, they took the ecu and jdm distributor. i need to know what type of ecu came with those motors, as well as distributor. (it was out of a del sol, B16A3 vtec. cable trans.) can i us the msd distrubutor that just came out? what about an aftermarket computer from AEM, or hks, or something like that? thanks for the looks
i would, but i don't know if it's been too long since it was there. i parked it there over two years ago when i was stationed in south carolina and couldn't readily get to it. i agree with the paying a storage fee though, and i would have if they would have told me!
the integra IS a 1990, but the engine isn't. It's a B16A3 vtech. the company i bought it from said it was out of a 1995 civic del sol. i'd just started getting in to imports at the time and didn't know a whole lot about them, obviously i still don't know all that much. help? thanks
