Default crx short shifter in 92 ls?

i was wondering if the short shift from my crx that just happens to be laying around from my wrecked crx would work in the da i just bought for 600 bucks.

the shift **** on it seems to be stuck. I've put alot of pressure on it to make it come off and it woun't budge. it wiggles a little back and forth and makes me wonder if its even threaded on. i am afraid that applying too much pressure to remove the **** will cause permanent damage to the shifter and i don't have the money to buy another right now. I really can't stand that worn out leather though. ????????

I think the part number for all honda civic/crx/integra short shifters is the same from 89-01 or so. I know the bushings are the same. Check skunk 2 or another brand and look at the p/n's. Those shift ***** will come off, they can be stiff though. Unless a previous owner glued it on there, just reef on it.
