its pretty much a straight forward swap but the dash wont fit perfectly because its a tad too small. It will go on but it wont look that clean imho

actually its a perfect fit. but make sure you take ur time. if you get the gauge cluster you have to use your wiring harness out of the hatch the crx has different plugs on it. so take the crx wiring out of the clips etc and switch em heres some pics of a 91 crx hf conversion into my 91 dx hatch. also the a-pillar covers from the rex wont work u have to use the ones from ur hatch

the crx dash will fit perfectly. just make sure and get a 90-91 so your cluster fits in the bezel properly.

and make sure to get the CRX cluster mounting brackets... they are different then the civics...

make sure to get the metal bracket that the very bottom of your dash (the metal part) bolts on to. it connects your dash to your body. the crx one is different.

if you want to swap the temp controls it will be way harder... if you leave the civic ones it will be easy.

there is a little black ground that connects your dash to your steering column, make sure to undo it before you remove your dash.

one bolt on either side of the dash inside of the vent that blows on your drivers/passenger window (the vent pops out)

one in the middle on the top... and two on each side where your feet go. oh and one more 10mm in the middle behind the center console. very easy

You will seriously regret it if your forget this bracket. Trust me, I speak from experience.
