Default noir exhaust and rear itr swaybar fitment problem

Car: 92 civic si hb
So I had purchased the asr/itr swaybar kit and am not able to put the swaybar on because the exhaust is in the way. The back of the exhaust towards the left, doesn't provide me with much room to put the bracket on. What do you guys suggest I do in order to make this fit? Has anyone come across this problem? I love the way the exhaust looks and sounds so I don't really want to change or get rid of it.

Here are some pic's for reference.
The first pic isn't the best but shows you what I have so far

This is the view from the left side of the exhaust.

you may have to get the muffler cut off and extended a bit. Can you take another pic more underneath the car that shows how much clearance there is between the brace and the muffler? Just lay down on the ground and reach your hand under there to hold the camera and take the pic.

It's too dark and I can't get a good shot of it. I don't have a digital camera either. So I'll have to take a shot of it tomorrow. Thanks for the reply

here is the side shoot, from left looking right.

here is a shoot from underneath. If you were on your back looking at the end of the exhaust.

You're pretty much SOL.

Choose either the muffler or the sway bar, because you obviously can't have both.

It is what it is. 92-95 hatchbacks have a pretty short rear overhang. You either need to change to a shorter muffler or get the piping extended to relocate the muffler further backwards. Then you'll either have to get the tip shortened or live with the tip sticking way out from under the bumper.

How far does the exhaust have to move back away from the control arms for the sway bar to fit you think? Do you think you can dent the back of the muffler in to make it clear? Just a thought. If you need to extend the exhuast, you could get some flanges and extra gaskets and use them as spacers between the muffler and the B pipe.

I had this same problem ! Tryin to find an axle back that would let me run a sway bar .... I got a stock JDM EG6 SIR axle back and problem was fixed .... Ive asked a few people and it seems that the WS2 axle back has enough room to let you run a sway bar.... Not sure what else will work.

So here are your choices :

Stock axle back
Apexi WS2

id dont understand whats so complicated. take it to an exhaust shop and have them make it fit properly. i couldn't see someone charging over 40 bux to add 2/3 in of pipe and using a saw to chop your tip off and weld on a shorter tip. i guess if you would rather have a fancy muffler you can always just buy another one. look throw a magnaflow or flowmaster catalog, there are hundreds of mufflers with different dimensions.
your local parts store probably has these catalogs behind the counter and can order them.

id sell the one you have to make some money for a new muffler. a nice muffler can be had for well under 100 bux if you know where to look

are the muffler lengths different between cars? by chance is the exhaust for a different application??

you can probobly fit like a 7mm sway bar in there.
home depot style. start a new trend

goodluck

i had the same problem as you fitting my stock exhaust (ek hb) with my asr+itr sway.

i had to either get a new exhaust or get a smaller sway. i opted for a new exhaust. spec II ftw!
