Default subframe reinforcement brace hardware

I tried searching already. i bought an r crew subframe brace but it didnt come with any hardware. i'm almost positive i need new hardware because i doubt the ones on the car are long enough so my question is does anyone know if i can buy the hardware kit? or maybe someone knows the specs for the hardware so i can go out and find them myself. thanks.

Im in the same situation you're in. I did some research and discovered that the rcrew bar is very similar in shape and apperance as comptech's bar. With that knowledge, i looked up comptechs bolt specs and went from there according to which vehicle you have. If you plan on using a sway bar, you're going to need to get the D bracket bolts. (there are 3, top, middle, and lower) If you're only going to use the brace you can reuse the bolt already on the subframe but you would still need the D clamp bolts to secure them in place. (correct me if im wrong) I have a 97 hx, and im also using the rcrew bar and ctr sway. I used bolts from a 00 si for the D brackets and for the OEM end links, i went to Ace hardware and bought 4 10x1.25 lock nuts/washer, to secure them.
here are pics of the bars:

i didnt notice that they looked like comptech's. I noticed that the bolt on the subframe had just enough threads so if i added a brace with a decent thickness than the bolt wont be long enough. yea, i already have the D brackets(came with the itr swaybar). i'll check out comptechs site and see what i can dig out, thanks for the help.

i dont know any links to the setup but heres their web site http://www.rcrewracing.com

Just go to the hardware stop and grab what you need. Most kits come with imperial hardware, and nothing fancy. I just grabbed longer SS hardware when I installed my beaks kit. I think it was 5/16 x 1.

Yeah, I picked up all 6 bolts from Honda.
Thanks man. You were a lot of help.

Here are the parts #: They're from a 00 civic si. It might be different for DC chassis.
Upper Bracket Bolt - 93403-08030-08 BOLT-WASHER (8X30) [QTY: 2] $2.48x2
Middle Brace Bolt - 93403-08020-08 BOLT-WASHER (8X20) [QTY: 2]$0.40
Lower Bracket Bolt - 95701-08016-08 BOLT, FLANGE (8X16) [QTY: 2]$1.92

With these bolts, you're going to need to buy some nuts to attach to the bolts. Since the si has a hinge(30) with two pre drilled holes to bolt the D link to for the stock si sway bar to attach to. The nuts will should take care of it.

Here are the size and nuts you'll need to properly put on the brace. (correct me if im wrong) I got these at a local Ace hardware store.

You'll need:
(6) 8mmx1.25 metric hex nut-$0.26 for a pack of 2.
(I highly suggest you also get some 8mm metric lock washer- $0.22 for a pack of 4.)

I resorted to hex nuts since i couldn't find any lock nut in that sz. But if you do, by all means get them.

Now, all you do is bolt them into the rear subframe of your car and that should be it. Keep in mind, this was done on my car each car is different, so try whatever works.

no i havnt installed it yet after i took another look under the car. I dont feel safe using the stock bolts so i have to take some time to go look for longer bolts. without the brace there is barely enough thread on the bolt that holds the lca on and if i add that brace which is about an inch thick there will barely be in threads so thats why i'm waiting but i will post pics when im done

Ok, so i finally decided to put the brace and swaybar on and i ran into a problem. The megan lca's dont want to mate with the endlinks too well so i need to get new ones. The endlinks aren't flush with the lca's. Heres pictures anyways.

i have the comptech bar and i just used the OEM lca bolts and its been 3 weeks and i have not had a problem yet. I think the brace is thin enough for the OEM bolts to thread through.

yea i know. before i installed the brace it didnt look like there would be enough thread but when i put it on there was just enough so using the oem bolts worked fine.
