Im sorry, but those are the most stupid reasons iv ever heard. Legislators could care less for the "performance, aerodynamics, cracks" Cars were made to get to point A to point B and not to be modified, and thats all they care about. Front plates were designed for authority and emergency vehicles. You can obviously respond to this as a no; seeing it sounds like it is coming from a "street racers" point of view as they may say. Good luck ever getting this law passed. And a very weak petition for trying to get such a large law to be dropped.

I have an idea. I would compromise keeping the front plate if they would just squish it and make it skinnier like the Euro plates. @ least then we wouldn't look as dorky. 
They could charge people money for the upgrade and raise money for the state as well. Win Win situation if you ask me. Law inforcement could still read the plates and we could have a cool looking ride
