You can't. Those were designed for vehicles with metal bumpers. It will rip yours to shreds, trust me.

I've used them multiple times on my 91 CRXs. Just connect it to the front crossmember and you'll be fine.

Well the one guy below you is saying that he used it and you are saying to trust you....lol

What cars have metal bumpers these days beside pickups ?

How are you connecting it to the crossmember? Ok this car doesn't have a crossmember it has a traction bar....where else can we hook it up? The tow hook mount points? Thanks

I found some generic pics and a bunch of sites to order from.
they have one specifically for these cars.

oh, and you could always call a manufacturer or retailer to find out how they fit/work on EFs. Just a suggestion.

My mistake, I guess I'm still stuck on my mentality from my U-Haul days. We used universal tow bars that would only work with pickups essentially.

Now that I think about it, you could probably use a more modern one with the front x-member or tow plates.

Why can't you just use a tow dolly? Car too low?

Just used chains and chained each side to the crossmember. Used the radius rods to keep it centered. Make sure you have NO slack.

I'm not sure if I would trust the tow hooks. I would just be worried about them bending with any sort of lateral load.
