Default Okay, best PERFORMING Intake/Exhaust/Header Combo?

What's up boys, my Si is in the body shop unfortunately since a dumb bitch decided to run a red light and rip my face off of my front bumper in a huge SUV but to get on subject..

The topic title pretty much says it all. In your opinion, or even better a Dyno's opinion (please post chart if possible)--What is the best combination for my '07 FA Si? I'm speaking of Intake, Header & Exhaust systems. Of course a great sound is a plus so I would appreciate a little input on that also but my main objective is obviously POWER. Maybe further down the road I'll be able to afford a nice ecu or maybe some sort of FI, but as a student that only makes any income on free-lance web designing & graphic designing I/H/E is stretching it for me as is. Hope to be posting a lot more frequently on good ol' Honda-Tech!

Thanks for any advice/input guys!

I would say Injen CAI, SSR race header and Skunk 2 60mm exhaust if your trying to be cheap and Burns stainless if you have $2K for an exhaust.

I myself am running an Injen SRI, I have a DC race header but am buying an SSR header and Neuspeed exhaust.

all of the headers except the comptech shorty make you delete the cat

Corsport is selling a vibrant header/hi-flow cat combo

just search on their site, I'm having trouble with my copy/paste right now... lol

BC, SSR, Hytech, DC sports all make race headers only for "off-road" use. Which does mean that they aren't emissions legal.

Depending on where you are, the Vibrant combo that Corsport is selling should be legal. The comptech shorty is also legal since it bolts to the factory cat.

I'm curious, how long do you have from the time you buy a new car till the time you have to take it for an emissions test? I bought my 07 Si in March, and I really want to throw on the DC race headers, but I don't want to have to take them off anytime soon just to pass emissions. Also, does anyone have any comments on DC's stuff? I have their CAI and catback, and I love it.

Some also mentioned to me in passing that you still might be able to pass emissions with the race header installed, is this correct?

Thanks ahead of time.

Thanks for the input guy's. Living in Florida (at least under current law) we have no emissions testing. Being a fairly "green" guy it actually kinda bothers me seeing clouds of nasty gases coming from beater exhaust systems, but I guess for us tuner-freaks it's a plus.

I have had headers on my other civics and I passed the test with no trouble. as long as the o2 censors on working.

Well other civics it was easy to install headers and keep the cat if you wanted, but what about the race headers on the new civics?
